A panel discussion by Education Technologists (EdTech) to debate the role of EdTech's impact on the "Achievement Gap" or the "Opportunity Gap," depending on perspective. The panel includes the following:
Dr. Trina L. C. Coleman, STEM Thought Leader, Media Personality, CEO, Ph.D. Physicist, Public Speaker: Dr. Coleman is the founder of Coleman Comprehensive Solutions, LLC. She crafted a diverse professional portfolio from post-doctoral researcher and faculty member to the executive director, assistant provost, and CIO. Also, Dr. Coleman spearheaded enterprise initiatives as a member of the Howard and Hampton University administrations.
Rod Smith, Chief Technology Officer at Clayton County Public Schools: His experiences as a comedian, a teacher, a technology director, and a training specialist have allowed him to develop a keen sense of understanding of how to collaborate with other educators to build models of effective technology implementation that will have the potential to transform schools truly.
